A Very Precious Love --- 1958

A Very Precious Love was initially the A-side and introduced in the movie Marjorie Morningstar when it was sung by Gene Kelly. This 1957 song was nominated for the 1958 Academy Award for Best Song, but lost to "Gigi" from the film of the same name. In 1958 became the B-side (Johnny Vagabond) more popular and the release was reissued with Johnny Vagabond as A-side.
