Excerpt From the back of the Jacket: It gives me great pleasure to write about the Gray Brothers and their Bluegrass Pals. I have known them all my life and their voices and instruments blend right together to make this a very comical and loveable album. The Gray Brothers have been singing with their Bluegrass Pals for over a year. Donald Gray, 11 years old, does an excellent job on lead and with the help of Jerry Gray, 13 years old, singing tenor. Together they make perfect harmony, but most of all they will make you laugh with their comical songs. David Gray, the Gray Brothers oldest brother, sings baritone and high tenor. He also does an excellent job on the bass. Jack Gray, the Gray Brothers Father, sings tenor and plays the lead guiter. Billy Hamm is a very good friend of Donnie, and Jerry does a wonderful job on the banjo. Oscar Messer sings harmony lead with the Bluegrass Pals. He is a very dear friend and good neighbor of the Gray Brothers. Last, but not least, is Jim Tordoff, who adds a lot of love and beauty to this album with his magic fiddle. They all seem like a great big family. They are also natives of Kentucky. I have traveled with the Gray Brothers since they have been singing. I have heard a lot of Bluegrass Bands sing in my time but I never heard such an enjoyable album as theirs. To me they can't be beat. After all I am Donnie and Jerry's sister. Sincerely, Brenda (Gray) Gullett Also Stated on the Back of The Album: Recorded By Redwood City Sound Ashland, Kentucky
