Overview
Live Aid --- 2001
Recorded live on July 13th, 1985 at Wembley Stadium, London & John F. Kennedy Stadium, Philadelphia This audio compact disc set is not an approved, official Live Aid / Band Aid release. This set was made by fans for fans and is NOT FOR SALE. Don't forget Live Aid and Band Aid were made for charity. Don't spoil this spirit. All efforts have been made to make the most complete historical rendering of the concert, but some parts may suffer of technical flaws. Detailed lineage of the recording is impossible to make because of the so many various sources used. Master analog stereo recordings have been used for most of the set, from BBC (UK) and ABC (USA) radio feeds. The video feeds were monos and have been no-noised, stereo enhanced, and level adjusted. We hope you enjoy the show. For further and definitive information about the Live Aid concert, please visit the unofficial Live Aid site [ http://www.live-aid.info ] Disc 18 Tracks 1-16: Rehearsals for the Live Aid Concert, recorded in Ron Wood's basement, July 12, 13 1985 Tracks 17-20: Live Aid Concert, Philadelphia, PA., July 14, 1985 All Rights reserved (p) 2001 Rattle Snake (Booklet 24 pages)
