Offset Song --- 2008-10-11

Okkervil River sold carbon-offset stickers during their 2008 shows. The carbon-offset stickers, designed by Scott Brackett, sold for two dollars at every stop on the tour. Each sticker purchased offset 300 lbs. of carbon emissions. The gross proceeds of the sales went to NativeEnergy, a non-profit organization that supports clean and renewable energy projects and promotes the sustainability of Native American farming. To increase the sticker sales at the last ten shows, the band raffled off a copy of an unreleased song, a unique version of which was mixed in the "green" room prior to the start of each show.
