Recorded August 2001 (tracks 1-3) and March 2002 (tracks 4-9) at Salurinn (Concert Hall) Kópavogur, Iceland Recording equipment: Neumann microphones, Tascam MA-AD 8 pre-amplifier; Yamaha 02R mixer; Gene GX 8000 MOD recorder; Stax headphones. Equipment provided by Jón Skuggi, Mix Studios. Total playing time: 60'36 32-page booklet contains notes in English, Faroese (the original), German and French, with artist photographs and profiles. William Heinesen's Faroese texts are printed with parallel-text English translations. Front cover painting: Floating by Rannvá Kunoy, 2001, acrylic and oil on canvas. Acknowledgement included (p.31) for support received by BIS Records AB from the Swedish Arts Council (Statens kulturråd) during the period (2002-2005) of this release.
