A Start Film made in 1954 with commentary in German and Japanese side-titles embedded. All music is played by the Berlin Philharmonic and comprises excerpts only, with the exception of Tracks 10 and 12 which are complete. The musical excerpts are interspersed with footage of, among other things, the Berlin Philharmonie pre-War and after destruction, and the streets of Berlin pre- and post-War.
