This album got me through COVID; it kept me creative, pushing me to explore new ways of connecting with kindred musician souls at a time when we weren't allowed to leave our homes after sunset, let alone get together/travel. These songs are my attempt to put into words and music what is on my heart and soul. To my creator, the source of it all, my thank you is endless. Other thank yous - to the musicians with whom I work, especially Michael for your friendship and our keen partnership, Jasper for your curious and generous spirit leading me down a path of exploration, R-J and Mark for fraternity in music after countless van hours logged. That I get to do this for a living and meet you on this mystical level to create something from nothing makes me feel like the luckiest person alive. Then I think of my daughters Sanna and Alma, and Johan - the 3 of whom give me true meaning - and I know I'm the luckiest person alive.
