Bog Phosphors is an ode to the bogland plains of his childhood home in east County Galway — an area which combines the apocalyptic terrain of stripped peat fields, soggy sphagnum marshes and fertile wetlands. Calling forth the euphoric Lovecraftian unease of this eerie locale, skuzzy, oozing sonics drape themselves around sparse motoric vertebrae… the squelch of analogue filters reverberates through rusty echo chambers… bio-luminescent guitars skulk through synth foetor…
