We at Marriage Records are honored to be one of the documenting forces for the artists and musicians with connections to Portland that this compilation represents. All the folks on this album are friends of the label and have performed together in various combinations across the states. The following are somewhat random details of what Marriage Records saw happening for the contributors and for itself this past year or so. Up to the end of 2004. Attend marriagerecords.com. Track 3: This song was recorded live, excepting the horns. They were recorded live later. Track 5: Megan and Jay from Dog and Cat and Bird Studio in Langley, B.C., where the song was recorded. Track 17: This before The Kingdom song, played live at the KPSU studio a couple years back. It's Pre Kingdom because of what The Kingdom has become, blossomed into, which is the current fully on band mode.
