With 2 number 1's on Trackitdown and support from Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Luciano, Mark Knight, Daniel Portman and more A-Listers than a Katie Price wedding, it's quite safe to say that Malfunktion have hit the ground running! Round 4 see's us pushing the boundaries once again with new blood Rate & Follow! They throw down a big room, growling techno monster! Nick Yockney and Dan Jeffries as their parents know them have been locking horns in the studio for just over 3 years now and recent releases have seen support from Paolo Mojo, Dubfire, Gary Beck and loads more and if this track is anything to go by, you need to keep an eye on these guys. First up on remix duties is Tech Stan. This Brazilian based tech wizard is a regular on the ODA label and Nicky Zimmer Music so it's no surprise when you listen to his deeper take on this track and delving more into the minimal techno territory. Definitely one for the big rooms with it's big rises and white noise fx, think of a packed dance floor at 3am with plenty of strobe, and you're pretty close! Kereni is next up on the remix and he takes things back to the tougher and more pumping side of techno. He uses a wicked acid line that filters in and out throughout the track and adds to that harder, more authentic techno feel making this another perfect weapon for those big rooms! Fuse that with some awesome drum programming, spot-on production and raw energy, we have another winning slab of techno on our hands! Once again, we step up with another massively impressive release from Malfunktion with varied sounds to cover all sub-sounds of techno to keep the kids happy, we're looking forward to round 5 already!
