Tannhäuser --- 1968

Because the excerpts are sung in Italian and poorly recorded, it was not possible (for this contributor) to identify precisely what is being sung. The complete performance was released on LP in HRE 201-3 (ca. 1976) and on CD in Hardy Classics HCA 6004-2 (1999). Although the EJS label says 1949, the performance was given on 12 March 1950 according to Hardy Classics, which also identifies the chorus and orchestra.
