Sabu In Orbit --- 2002

Recorded at SMC Pro-Arte Studios on November 15, 1969. Tracks 1 to 4 originally released as "In Orbit" and tracks 5 to 10 as "Astronautas De La Pachanga" by SMC (Spanish Music Center). Both original albums have also been reissued by Lazarus Audio Products as one double LP with newly designed cover art. The liner notes by George Bonilla mention that "...the musicians listed for [this] session [...] were never to appear on any other Latin jazz recording again. Or were they?" He then continues with some speculation whether the names were otherwise "unrecorded" nicknames of known players or whether they might have been fictitious names due to otherwise exclusive recording contracts. In the case of the vibes player on "Astronautas..." the original record does not mention any credits.
