"A video diary of the final tour by the legendary New York Hare Krishna hardcore band 108. With the completion of 3 albums and several international tours, the video illustrates how 108 ends in a very respectable way. They played their last show in a crowded CBGB's New York. A sequence of quotes, interviews, anecdotes and live shows featuring the songs Deathbed, Opposition, Killer of the Soul, Holyname and Thirst. An alternative lifestyle is looked at and we see people who, rather than enter into the 'mainstream', have created their own subculture. The documentary focuses upon the inner evolution and self-analysis of the band and the people involved in the 'scene'. Set against the backdrop of the East Coast, Curse of Instinct: 108's Final Tour does not try to answer all the questions it may pose. Rather it magnifies a specific element of a community that has carved out it's own path. 108 and the people involved will continue to move forward, if for no other reason than to learn more about themselves, and try to understand their seemingly innate rejection to the world around them.
