Somatic Refrain was commissioned by bass clarinetist Ronda Rindone. Pliny was commissioned by Continuum with the generous assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts. Retablo (dedicated to Rudolf Komorous) was commissioned by the Burdocks Ensemble with the generous assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts.
