Cat# 'MM FREE 1' appears on sleeve rear, sleeve spine and run-out grooves but not on labels. This release is from 1982 for sure as the IQ line-up has Paul Cook but also Carmine Brudenell. Both Mike Holmes and Carmine Burdenell are misspelled. On rear cover: A1: This track was produced by Rafe McKenna and Nik Launay at Mount Pleasant Studios, London. A2: It was produced by Wally Brill at RMS Studios, Crystal Palace. A3: It was produced on a portastudio by Tim Esau and Mike Holmans. A4: "Poor Betty Jane" was produced by Bob Wilson at his own studio. A5: The line up on "Illinois", which was produced by the band at Rainbow Studios, Nottingham, is Paul Edmonson (vocals), Duncan Sedgwick (guitar), Paul Gidley (sax), Jerry Harkness (bass), and Olly O'Hoone (guitar). B1: This track was produced by the band at Berkeley Street Recording Studios, Glasgow. B2: "Heaven Hill" was produced by Kevin Glass in Deadset Studios, London N16. B3: Formed about a year ago, they gig in the London area and produced "Labours And The Land" themselves at Elephant Studios, Wapping. B4: "The Sense That Never Sleeps" was produced by the band and Peter King at Sycamore Studios, Treboeth, near Swansea.
