2 x die-cut flip back sleeve, laminated on front only, and dated 11-60 Dark green, grooved label with silver text (no tax codes). © The Decca Record Company Ltd, London,1960 Note this is not a straight reissue of "A Concert of English Music" on Decca LXT 5015, although the Bax and Holst items are from this release (1955). The Malcolm Arnold "English Dances", recorded at the same session in November 1954, were first issued on Decca LW 5166 (1955). The Elgar "Bavarian Dances", recorded in October 1954, were first issued on Decca LW 5174 (1955). The Elgar "Chansons" were recorded in February 1954, and this Ace of Clubs release appears to be their first release on LP. Sleeve notes, and photograph unidentified and uncredited.
