The obi states this is a commemorative edition for the appearance of Max Roach in Japan, with details of his December 12 concert on the reverse. Twelve page booklet includes liner notes by Max Roach in English and by Takao Ogawa in Japanese. A promo sticker with a tracking number on the inlay and a print of "SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE" in black on the transparent part around the center hole of the disc. This is not a pre-released promo.
