Recording Information: The sessions took place in October 1978 and January 1979, with Don Moye and Jay Hoggard working only the earlier sessions and Billy Hart only the later sessions. Location: India Navigation Studio in NYC Tape Machines: An Ampex 440, 8-track, operating at 15 ups, was the mastering deck, and an Ampex ATR 102, operating at 30 ups, was the mixdown deck. Microphones: An Electrovoice RE 20 was used for the sax (it captures the robust sound of the instrument and Chico liked it) and assorted AKG condenser and Beyer ribbon mice were used for the other instruments. Mastered at The Mastering Lab with Tube Electronics by Carvin Lurssen, Ron Lewter Pressed by RTI Plating by Ed Tobin
