American Accordion Musicological Society New Music From Accordion --- 1970

This recording is a non-profit, limited-issue project sponsored by the American Accordion Musicological Society, an organization formed in 1969 with the following goals in mind: to collect an international library of original music for accordion, to send out a yearly bulletin of new works, to sponsor an annual composition contest, to issue an annual recording of new music, and to hold a yearly new music symposium. This recording is the first in the series and contains the compositions performed at the 1970 symposium in New York, November 27, 1970.
