Promise A Folk Mass --- 1976
About The Composer: Jane Feerer, a senior pre-theology student at Michigan State University, entered the Episcopal Church through the Episcopal Church of Scotland while living in Dundee. Her folk setting for the Eucharist conveys the joy and awe of the Pentecostal experience which she encountered in the charismatic renewal movement. The © and all royalties from PROMISE have been assigned to the Episcopal Ministry at Michigan State University for its continued ministry. The musical score is available in both pew and altar (including Proper Prefaces) editions from: P.O. Box 1004, East Lansing, Michigan 48823. *Another folk setting has been written by Ms. Feerer for the Feast of the Resurrection and is entitled SONRISE.
