Summer '67 --- 1967
Souvenir Album Gatefold Although Le Sacre Du Printemps [A] was performed in its entirety, because of timing restrictions in the pressing of this souvenir album, the following passages have been omitted: (1) From rehearsal number 90, which is four measures before the mystical Circle of the adolescents, to one measure before rehearsal number 102, which is six measures before the Glorification of the Chosen One. Total of 57 measures omitted; (2) From rehearsal number 129 to 131 in the Evocation of the Ancestors. Total of 14 measures omitted. All of the music at Meadow Brook - Summer '67 was recorded on a matched set of Ampex PR-10's using a single Neumann-Telefunken directional microphone. It was recorded full track, 7½ ips, on Scotch #201 magnetic tape. This recording was produced by the broadcast services of Michigan State University, WKAR-WKAR/FM - John Hawkins, Audio Engineer and Technical Director; Ken Beachler and Gary Barton, Producers.
