Tanzmusik Der Renaissance
Overview
Tanzmusik Der Renaissance --- undefined
Recorded: Nürnberg, Colosseum, 8-13 November 1971. Made in Germany. Cover illustration: 'Musical entertainment in the garden', a book miniature taken from the Codex "DE SPHAERA". The work is by an unknown Italian artist during the 15th century. The gatefold sleeve has three extra pages inserted (i.e., glued) containing notes in German, English, and in French. The third page presents an extended track listing, giving sources and intrumentation during execution. The gatefold proper photographically reproduces dancing habits in the form of three paintings and two etchings. The works of art are from the 15th and 16th centuries.
