Certainly Placebo became one of the hottest signing contests of 1995 because of this uniqueness which revolves around androgynous singer / guitarist Brian Molko but extends beyond appearances. His voice, lyrics and the sound of the band set Placebo apart and carned them unanimous acclaim for their eponymous debut album released this June. “Teenage Angst” is their second single for Elevator Music / Hut and should be their first top forty placing after wowing people on the festival circuit and David Bowie shows.
