Rest Of The Best - Greatest Hits Vol 2,5 --- 2000-09-26

A CD compilation which only 50 copies were pressed after group member Herodes Falsk's wishes. It was only sold at Sentrum Scene, Oslo when Prima Vera held a show called Prima Vera (a)live 2000. The compilation album Absolute Prima Vera was released in 1994, and a live/compilation double album The Prima Vera Show was released in 1999. Many songs were not present on these compilations. A fan of Prima Vera recorded their original vinyl albums to his computer and then burned a private CD with most of the songs that wasn't on these compilations. He burned three more copies of the CD and gave them to the members some days before the show mentioned above. The albums that he recorded to his computer were Prima Vera, Brakara, Salmer Og Sanger Vi Gjerne Hiver, Den 5te and Ha Ha He He Ho! (De Gærne Har'e Godt) as well as the compilation album Best Of Ebba, as these were "pure humour albums". Brakara was later reissued on CD in 2001. Track 30, Heiser Opp, which was previously unreleased, and is a cover of the Paul McCartney song Coming Up, was originally supposed to be included on their fifth studio album Den 5te, released in 1981, but he denied Prima Vera to include it on the album. When the group held a press conference in 1999, in conjunction with the release of their live/compilation album The Prima Vera Show, they were asked about this, and Tom Mathisen joked that McCartney recently came from the surgeon when he read this. Jahn Teigen stated in an interview in 2001 that the main reason behind this was McCartney wanted that the translated lyrics of his songs should follow the original lyrical content.
