Recorded in Paris at La Gaité Lyrique & Philharmonie de Paris Summer 2019 "Live in Paris" is a revamped capture of Scratch Massive's performances at La Gaité Lyrique and the Philharmonie for the Days Off festival in Paris. During this daring Live, the duo composed of Maud Geffray and Sébastien Chenut invites an immersive and captivating ride through their albums “Nuit De Rêve” and “Garden Of Love”. It's also an opportunity to discover “Soleil Noir”, the haunting title from the “TIME” album. "Live in Paris" is a magnetic trip where every title embarks on live versions of songs revisited. There is an intoxicating combination of "Last Dance" and "Fantome X", that begins the dark and romantic intensity that will hold us for more than an hour. Followed by "Waiting for A Sign" under amphetamine to "Dancer in The Dark" where Maud Geffray's synthesizer-infused voice merges with an epileptic rhythm. And then the relentless version of "Sunken" that is even more thrilling than on the album. The dark lets itself be contaminated by the light. The titles are carried away by the beauty of the arrangements and the urgency of the style. The magic of travel is right there. The icing on the cake: the acme is devastating with the apotheosis of the encore where "Paris" sung by Daniel Agust (Gus Gus) before closing on a "Girls on Top" in a version downright energized.
