People Doing Strange Things With Electricity II - Preview Edition --- 2005-01-22
This release took place alongside the Dorkbot-Sea exhibition, People Doing Strange Things With Electricity II, curated by Kate Seekings at the Center On Contemporary Art in Seattle on January 22, 2005. 100 double CD copies and a 74 page booklet were available for free at the event. A small insert is included which reads: "dorkbot-sea regrets that, due to a duplication error, the track order on this CD is incorrect. CD One: Track 13 (InBOIL: I Invented Electricity) and Track 1 (HEMI-Powered Hear Me!) have been switched. CD Two: Track 7 (Shaun Wilson: Statica) and Track 8 (Carl Juarez: Interstellar Intercept) have been switched. We apologize for the inconvenience to artists and listeners alike. These errors will not be reflected in the final release, scheduled for February 05, nor the Comfort Stand Recording release, live online today. On disc two, it is actually tracks 1 and 7 that are switched.
