Protest Songs was recorded and mixed at Lynx Studio, Newcastle Upon Tyne in September 1985, except tracks 5 & 10 which were remixed at Utopia in New York. Protest Songs was originally to be released in december 1985. Cat. # COL 465118 2 on back, 465118 2 on spines, 468810 2 on disc. Based on the catalog number used on artwork and disc, this version combines artwork and disc from other re-issues of this release. See also [r=18571807] and [r=18572488], with an identical catalog number on the discs. These three releases might be misprints (?).
