Recomposition --- 2007

"100 Musiciens pour un concert sans musicien" ..based on french phonétic = A hundred musicians for a gig without musician.. Was "played"/screened live in Festival Premiers Plans - Angers / France the 26th of January 2007 Coproduction [l=Le Chabada] and [a=Tinytool]. Concept was to record (sound+image) individually 100 local musicians who each had, one day or another, played in the venue [l=Le Chabada] in whatever band/live acts they were acting in. The rec rule was the same for all = tempo, register (no Fa#) and duration. Then to make them playing back in the venue without being physically on stage, but on individual screens, thus re-creating a kind of gig lining up different bands (12) who never existed but constitued with these musicians by the music they played able to transpire in songs (12). Like a gig of ghosts or like the spirit of music inhabiting the venue... The credits are available on the video at the end of each songs.
