iTunes Singles American Idol --- 2009

Promo CDR compilation of all studio versions / recordings made of songs performed live by Adam Lambert throughout Season 8 of American Idol. During the "Top 13" live rounds of the competition, each contestant recorded a studio version of the song that they performed on stage each week. These studio versions were released immediately after each result show and made available for download exclusively and for a limited period via iTunes U.S. At the end of the competition, collections of these recordings (Season 8 Favorite Performances) were made available as separate digital albums for both the winner (Kris Allen) and runner-up (Adam Lambert). These compilations were again made available for download exclusively and for a limited period through iTunes U.S. immediately following the season finale on May 20 2009. Unlike the iTunes-issued digital album, this promo CD features all songs in the sequence in which they were performed live. It also includes "No Boundaries" - the so-called "winner's" song which was actually recorded by both winner and runner-up, with both versions released to all digital music retailers again following the season finale.
