2020 acoustic recordings. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of their debut album Disgraceful, Dubstar have released this strictly limited edition coloured vinyl 7” single containing an intimate acoustic recording of their first Top 20 hit 'Not So Manic Now'. To heighten the spirit of nostalgic indulgence, its B-Side contains an equally homely rendition of The Beatles song 'Free As A Bird', which was in the U.K. charts at the same time as Dubstar's original version of 'Not So Manic Now'. In another layer of coincidence, 'Disgraceful' shares its 25th birthday with what would have been John Lennon’s 80th in 2020. The sleeve artwork features original photographs of Gateshead’s brutalist Trinity Square car park, taken by the band shortly before its unforgivable demolition.
