Balise --- 2015-12-21

"Balise is composed following the Balinese Pawukon Calendar over one 210 day cycle, with the beats based on the different 10 week cycles and the sounds representing the types of productivity that fall in the cycles of the calendar. It was part of a concept of books, smells and soundscapes (this one being about Bali) to be used as stimulation for designers who needed to switch on their creativity while under pressure of a deadline. The idea was to stimulate the senses to allow your ideas to flow." Composed around 1994.
