Nothing Is Something --- 1983

A full booklet of lyrics, drawings, and photographs is included. Labels are hand-painted. Improvisational tracks: A1-A4 & B4-B5 recorded 5/25/1983. A6-B1 were recorded 5/18/1983. Live tracks recorded around a composed bass line: A5, B2-B3; vocals and other dubbed on later. Side A has the name "Nothing is Something." Side B has the name "Something Is Nothing." Lyrics on A5 are from <i>Art and Language</i>. Lyrics on B5 are from S.J. Bernstein's novel <i>Hermione</i>, though the title on B5 was misspelled.
