Lutan Fyah - Underground To Overground: Volume 35

Overview

Lutan Fyah - Underground To Overground: Volume 35 --- 2004

This project came forward when Lutan Fyah recovered masters lost from the vaults from some of his first studio sessions with veteran producer Buju Banton and placed them in the hands of Child and P.G.M. These early sessions, which took place in 1998 & 1999 during Lutan’s internship with Banton’s Gargamel record label have never been released outside of Jamaica. These songs document the beginning of the story for this young artist with raw natural talent and a unique incomparable style. With Lutan’s career steadily growing around the world and the completion of three albums soon to be released on Lustre Kings, Jah Warrior & Minor Flat Records, this collection of songs represents the cornerstone in an already solid foundation. Mixed and arranged by Child, with exclusive interludes and selected tracks from Project Groundation Massive mixtapes, “Underground to Overground” is a fresh breath of energy into the cultural reggae movement seamlessly bridging roots, dancehall & Hip-Hop.
