Jewish Comic Song mit Orkester Begleitung = With Orchestra Accompaniment Sung in Yiddish A: Yiddish "A Bisele Fun Du Un A Bisele Fun Dort" means "A little from here and a little from there." [Note: There are typos in the Yiddish spelling of Track A on the label. The correct spelling should be: אַ ביסעלע פון דאָ און אַ ביסעלע פון דאָרט. Also, there are typos in the transliteration on the label. The transliteration here is correct; the « s » in « bisele » is sometimes doubled to reflect the correct sound.] B: טשאַסטושקעס = Jokes Fun "Ven Liebe Ruft" = פון, ווען ליעבע רופט [i.e., from: "When Love Calls", a Yiddish musical by Sholom Secunda that premiered in Brooklyn's Liberty Theatre on January 10, 1928] Both tracks recorded New York, NY, January 1928.
