Archival Tracks --- 2020-09-28

Notes from the release: ARCHIVAL TRACKS A Collection Of Songs That Got Lost In The Shuffle... All of these songs were recorded in my tiny demo studio between 1998-2005. I was teaching myself engineering and I made these songs for fun. I need to find the master sessions so I can revisit the mixes. I've learned quite a bit since then! Track 1: CAR TUNE was made as a demo for my Wiggy amplifier that I designed. Blues Saraceno plays drums and bass on this track. This was a rough mix that I recently found on a CD in storage. Track 2: The title of this song comes from a Marine slogan, "No Beach Is Out Of Reach." The heavy-duty riff is like the soundtrack to a blockbuster film where some ass-kicking takes place. I played the first solo on my Brian May guitar. I intended to do some harmonies but never got around to it. This was a rough mix and the song wasn't completed. I don't know where the masters are so I guess it's done now. LOL Track 3: Back in the year 2000, I had a small studio set up. I began recording some songs myself to learn about engineering. This is one of the first demos I made. I played everything but the drums. Track 4: This is a kitchen sink demo mix. It has many extra layers that I was experimenting with. I need to find the masters so I can make a better mix one day! This song would be good in Atmos. Track 5: I totally forgot about this song. It was a demo I made while messing around with a TC Helicon. I did some oddball vocals and made a song around them. I remember playing a Black Les Paul pro with cream P90's and I used my Wiggy amp. I don't have that guitar anymore! Track 6: "It's Not My Problem" was recorded in 1991 during the 'Confessions Of A Deprived Youth' sessions. Somewhere around 2004 I added a few overdubs and made a rough mix. Here it is...
