Blue shell edition limited to 30 copies. Cassette housed in slipcase. Issued in a presentation envelope, with A6 postcard designed by Scott King. From label's release notes: Recorded in a single take - with no editing or embellishment - King recounts a story first told to him in the early 1990s by James Fry, who in turn was told the story by John Carruthers, in the early 1980s. Based on a true story, though the facts have warped over time; King tells his version of the night, in mid-1970s Sheffield, when all-round entertainer [a653669] stood in for absent Motown superstars [a292376], at Sheffield City Hall.
