"Live at Stanley Cup" was recorded live at Joe Louis Arena on Tuesday, June 3, 1997, except for "Layin' It On The Line" and "Healing Waters" which were recorded in April of 1997at Studio D in Sausalito, California. The producers wish to gratefully acknowledge IBM as the presenting sponsor of this CD, as well as nhl.com advertisers BUD ICE and AT&T for their support in staging the "Live at Stanley Cup" Tour." From listening to the last two studio tracks, it appears they are indeed newly recorded versions (stated on the inlay card as April 1997) of the original tracks so this further cements this as a unique album.actually new recording!
