Produced by the Mike Scott Information Society for its members. All the songs were recorded in the Summer of '91 at Ringsend Studios in Dublin just before Mike left for New York, except for tracks 5 & 6 which are from a Virgin radio session made in July '93 in London. KISS THE WIND was last heard in the shows of December '90 when it was called ONCE UPON A TIME. THE NEW LIFE has different verses and an outro which did not appear on "Dream Harder". GOOD NEWS is an earlier unfinished mix with a drum machine. The finished version which appears on "Dream Harder" was overdubbed by Carla Azar in New York. SYMPATHY FOR DAVID ICKE was included in a series of songs later recorded as B-sides. EVER TO BE NEAR YE is a poem by Scottish poet Robert Burns and LOVE AND DEATH is a poem by W.B. Yeats. The music for both these tracks was written by Mike Scott as was all the other material on this C.D.
