In Loving Memory Of --- 2020-05-18

This is the third album of Argo Vals. It is composed, arranged and recorded during the years 2015 – 2020. Released on physical formats [2LP and CD] on May 18, 2020 Released on streaming platforms on May 29, 2020 Recordings were made in Ristiku and Tatari Street DIY studios in Tallinn, Kullaaugu talu in Ahja, Sipa in Märjamaa, Mardu in Soomaa, Ö Stuudio and Tartu Railway Station. Vinyl manufactured by Vinyl Plant in Tartu and CD by Digibox Plus in Ülenurme, Estonia Track 2 was born while composing for the dance performance ’A Good Run’ (2019) by Joonas Tagel. It was put aside to find a great spot somewhere else and had a steady landing on this album. Track 3 was originally composed for the Eesti Lood short documentary film ’Sihtpunkt – olla õnnelik’ (2015) by Kertu Köösel. Track 7 was originally composed for the Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2019 Satellite programme ’Musicity’ by Nick Luscombe and curator Kirke Päss [musicityglobal.com] Here is a reworked version of the tune.
