UP! Live In Brussels Part 2 --- 2019

Recorded live at AB in Brussels, Belgium on 30 May 1988 by Alfa mobil studio. From Mark Bogaerts Bandcamp page: "In 1986, I went to New-York with the intention to find some nice musicians to play with our band Skull Intensity that was evolving towards a multimedia project with dance and visuals. We were looking for a drummer and guest soloists. So I visited and met several nice players like Lester Bowie, Ronald Shannon Jackson, Tom Varner, Billy Bang, Butch Morris, Mark Dresser, ... . At one point the owner of the loft where I stayed, Mark Hennen, himself a piano-player, proposed me to meet a friend who I might appreciate. So he invited Rashied Ali who came with his sun Amin. We had some nice jamming together all four. Afterwards I proposed Rashied and Amin to do something together when I would be back in Europe. So we did a first tour in 1987 playing in Belgium, Holland and Germany and I invited them again together with Garrett List in 1988. The last concert was recorded live and the result is what you can hear here now. We played ten compositions for nearly two hours that night in Brussels. The exact same order as we played that evening has being kept. In part I you find the five first compositions and in part II are the remaining five to complete the whole set."
