Previously released on [m198240], Nonesuch 79457 Mastered at SoundByte Productions, New York City String Quartet No. 1 (1966) - Commissioned by Rostislav Dubinsky (Borodin Quartet). Canon In Memory Of I. Stravinsky was commissioned by "Tempo" magazine. String Quartet No. 2 (1980) - Commissioned by Universal Edition. String Quartet No. 3 (1983) - Commissioned by the Mannheim Gesellschaft für Neue Musik for the Beethoven Quartet. String Quartet No. 4 (1989) - Commissioned by the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft for the Alban Berg Quartet. Concerto for Mixed Choir was comissioned by the Moscow Chamber Choir. Published by G.
