Track A1 is the original soundtrack to "Gasherbrun, die leuchtende Berg" (English translation: The Dark Glow of the Mountains), Werner Herzog's 1984 documentary about Reinhold Messner (the German alpinist who first ascended Mount Everest alone, without any medical assistance, in 1980). Recorded at Quadrat Studio, München, March-June 1985. Version with Cicada logo labels, circa 1987.
