The 2nd release of Princely Records is what happens when you ask a b-boy for a house record - an EP dripping with boom bap stylings, sampling classic soul and hip hop, with beats that shuffles and drops at the right moments that creates a funky tension. “Moving In The Shadows” is also an opportunity for Inkswel to pull together a worldwide network of friends for collaborations, featuring American Midwest and Southwest vocalist A. Billi on the title track “Moving In The Shadows”, Australian vocalist Luka on “Feeling Higher” and house, disco and dub remixes by Henri Le Blanc (Australia), Don Dayglow (UK) and Beatfanatic (Sweden) respectively. Mastering of the EP is done by none other than the legendary Martin Iveson or more well-known as the nu jazz/soulful house master Atjazz. Inkswel has been a very busy producer of late. The understated cool of Inkswel - the "ex-bboy, that's where the name Inkswel came from, think graffiti" producer from Australia who has done his rounds in Berlin, London and Amsterdam before settling back DownUnder - is not something he shouts about himself but his impressive repertoire of releases speak for themselves. In the last 10 years since 2009, Inkswel has consistently littered EPs and two full length albums with a camp of quality labels such as Melbourne's own Wax Museum, Hot Shot Sounds and This Thing, Boogie Bash, Dopeness Galore and Lumberjacks In Hell in Amsterdam, Edinburgh's Firecracker, MCDE's Faces Records, Portland's Omega Supreme, Croatia's Burek release with remixes by Iron Curtis, DJ Nature and IG Culture, UK's Wolf Music and KAT, Chicago's The Playground, Spain's Pulp Music and in 2016, a full length album "Unity 4 Utopia" on legendary UK label BBE / Berlin's OYE Records and "The Sound" LP on live music focused UK label Apparel Tronic.
