Heading For A Trauma ("Trauma Pak") --- 1985

The initial 250 copies, sold only at the Phantom Records store in Sydney, came in an oversized, numbered, printed brown paper bag, containing the following: 1. the LP...first pressing...[r1088406]...complete with insert 2. an exclusive live two-song 7" flexi-disc wherein they cover songs by The Seeds, and Jonathan Richman And The Modern Lovers...[r4550434] 3. an original pressing of the "Atom Bomb Baby" / "Backwards Man" 7" in pic sleeve...[r3207566] 4. an exclusive Scientists t-shirt, printed specifically for this pack and never available separately - it came in 4 different sizes: 14 (30 made), 16 (80 made), 18 (80 made), and 20 (60 made). 5. an exclusive large black and white screen-printed poster (folded)...(again, printed specifically for this pack and never available separately) The bag was folded over and sealed with a small long white sticker which had the t-shirt size handwritten onto it. As stated, only 250 were made and it was hand-numbered (_/250) in silver pen in the bottom right-hand corner of the front of the bag. The artwork for the bag was designed by Phantom staff member, Peter Howard, now an established portrait artist. A1, A6 recorded August '82 at Palm Studios, Sydney. A2 to A5, B1 recorded in the studios of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Aug. 15 '83. B2 to B5 recorded Oct. '84 at Sound Works Studios, Brussels.
