The King Biscuit Flower Hour: Alone At Last
Overview
The King Biscuit Flower Hour: Alone At Last --- 1987-12-13
PHIL COLLINS, CHRISSIE HYNDE & DAVID GILMOUR D.I.R. Radio Network Records The King Biscuit Flour Hour: Alone At Last Original Airdate - Week of 13 December 1987 1987 pre-FM Single Compact Disc King Biscuit brings together [a101028], [a11070] and [a110863] for a radio special entitled Alone At Last. The show highlights live performances from the three artists separate from their respective bands. Each artist was recorded at different venues, however, the recording locations are never mentioned. Contains original commercial blocks and introductions by King Biscuit regular contributor Bill Minkin. Tracks 1 - 4 are the actual radio show while Tracks 5 - 7 are promo spots. Of note is the fact the the disc itself lists all three artists on the face, however, Gilmour's name is misspelled as Gilmore. It is for this reason that the three artists are listed on this submission (rather than utilizing the "Various" selection) and because Minkin mentions all three by name at the start and end of the show.
