Recordings of various instruments playing period pieces on instruments of the Belle Skinner Collection of Rare Instruments at Wistariahurst during its time as the Holyoke Museum of Fine Arts and Natural Sciences, shortly before it was donated as part of the Yale University Collection of Musical Instruments, in 1960. Included two sheets of copied typewritten notes on the instruments used, their appearance, variations in the music. Unknown number issued. No art on sleeve; WorldCat (OCLC 79919027) indicates this was originally the case, only Vol II has album art.
