Art Hodes' Chicago Rhythm Kings --- 1953-08-00

Original 1953 Riverside release "reissued by special arrangement". White labels with light blue and black text and reel & microphone logo, used by the company from inception January 1953. Labels display bold, broad RLP 1012 text, used by the company until early 1954. 125 LaSalle Street New York 27, N. Y. address on the jacket back was the original record company location. This was the address of the Grauer / Keepnews magazine, "The Record Changer", established 1942. Pressing rings on the labels are 14 / 72 mm. The raised stamps in the runouts infers placement either before or after mother creation. 1940 recording featuring Rod Cless and Marty Marsala
