VGT --- 2011

All VGT members play acoustic guitars tuned in fifths (CGDAEG). Viljandi Guitar Trio sprang to life in 2008 at TU Viljandi Culture Academy, where Robert Jürjendal introduced us into the fascinating world of New Standard Tuning - acoustic guitars tuned in fifths. While we were exploring the exciting possibilities that this tuning offered, we also discovered a similar mindset in our musical thinking.
