Lion Of Love
Overview
Lion Of Love --- 1996
All songs are written and performed by Mike Scott. All instruments and vocals are by Mike Scott with the exceptions of 2nd guitar on "Experience Week Song" which is by David Hammond and backing vocals and percussion on "The Seaweed Shovelling Song" which are by The Findhorn Park Garden Crew. The "Lion Of Love" CD is the second produced by the Mike Scott Information Society for its members. The CD aims to give an exclusive glimpse into the music surrounding the "Bring 'Em All In" album, with tracks taken from the album recording at Findhorn and others from radio sessions during the tour which accompanied the album. Songs 1,2,8,9,10 and 11 were all recorded at Universal Hall Studio, Findhorn, during "Bring 'Em All In" in September/October 1994. "I Know She's In The Building" is the actual album version, pre-overdubs. The "Experience Week Song" is about Mikes first week at the Findhorn community. He wrote it while he was there in December 1992. All the Findhorn songs were produced by Scott and Bolas. They were recorded and mixed by Niko Bolas. Songs 5, 6, and 7 are from an XFM radio session recorded in London in October '95. They were engineered and recorded by Sammy Jacobs. Songs 3 and 4 were recorded in March '96 for CBC Radio's GABEREAU by engineer Denis Grenier in Vancouver.
