Volume 14 of a series of 20 releases. Installments were not released in chronological order; this volume was the 16th to be released. Hardcover book in Japanese order ("back-to-front"), 22 pages, with record sleeve in back cover. This installment covers the years Showa 26 and 27 (1951-1952). Side 1 is stereo and consists of re-recordings by contemporary artists; side 2 is mono and consists of period recordings. The book has sections on the past and present of automobiles in Japan, the Kōhaku-Utagassen, a long historical article, lyrics to the songs and liner notes, and biographies of the principal musical artists from that period.
